North Carolina State University Alumni Center
A premier $16M alumni facility completed in 2007 with over 59,000 sq ft. of meeting rooms, a grand two story foyer, alumni club, elegant dining, and office space. Project Structural Engineer of Record:

Museum of the Marine
A planned 53,000 sq. ft. facility in Jacksonville, NC, designed to pay tribute to the exceptional Marines that serve our country. The museum will showcase themed galleries, artifacts and interactive exhibits, as well as an extensive outdoor courtyard area displaying sculptures and exterior exhibits. Targeting LEED certification, the site is being designed utilizing low-impact, sustainable design features, including minimizing impervious surface areas, implementing vegetative buffers, and mitigating impacts to existing perennial streams and wetlands. |
Lowes Corporate Headquarters
Two, 5-story parking decks utilizing castellated steel beam framing with composite concrete slabs on the elevated parking levels. Project Structural Engineer of Record:

YWCA - Winston Salem, NC
A 90,000 sq. ft., $15M facility completed in 2007 and situated on a reclaimed brownfield site. Long span steel trusses were utilized over the pool area, which integrated a family water park feature with a NCAA-size competitive pool, and the gymnasium with a suspended running track. Expansive two-story window curtain walls helped to accentuate numerous areas of exposed structural framing, which required a well-coordinated effort among various design disciplines. Radford University Covington Fine Arts Center
This 56,000 sq. ft., $17.2 million fine arts center located in Radford, VA was completed in 2008 and was the first LEED accredited building on campus. The grand entrance lobby leads to a 350 seat performing arts theater, music library, collections area and a display gallery. Distinctive acoustic materials and structural vibration dampening connections were integrated throughout the building structure to separate the choral and instrument rehearsal spaces. Winston Salem State University Atkinson Science Building
Completed in 2003, this 51,000 sq. ft., $12 million facility houses the Life & Physical Sciences Departments. The structure includes meticulously designed laboratory spaces, classrooms, a lecture hall and a cafe. Project Structural Engineer of Record:
