Duke University Medical Center University Tower

EDA provided space planning and related interior designs for 12,400 square feet of existing space on the 7th and 8th floors of Duke Medical University's University Tower. The project's objective was to bring together related departments that had operated in different locations and determine the required amount of space needed for administrative and support staff uses. Special consideration was also given to the enhancement of space to provide a warmer and more inviting environment for employees and visitors.

EDA provided space planning drawings and wayfinding with work schedule phasing and construction documents. Planning standards were implemented for square foot allocations for administrative areas, workstations, support areas, conference rooms, circulation, equipment, and storage areas.
